Panguitch is a perfect 10-0 against Tintic since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bobcats will welcome the Miners at 6:00 p.m. Panguitch has given up an average of 55 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
On Wednesday, Panguitch was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-51 to Wayne.

Despite the loss, Panguitch got top-tier performance from Trenton Virga, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 boards. Virga is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Casey Walter, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 13 points and five boards.
Meanwhile, Tintic came up short against Waterford last Tuesday and fell 54-45. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Panguitch will need to focus on slowing down Haygen Jameson, one of several Tintic players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 16 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 35.6% of Tintic's points, marking the fourth time in a row Jameson has scored more than a third of the team's points. Braylon Jones was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.
Panguitch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Tintic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Panguitch has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 37.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Tintic struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 32.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything went Panguitch's way against Tintic in their previous meeting back in February, as Panguitch made off with a 53-32 victory. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Miners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
