 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Malory Vaudrin, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-1.  Samantha Rychter was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base.
 John Carroll Catholic is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record  this season.
