Vision will be playing in front of their home fans against the Liberty Charter Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Vision beat North Star 37-31. The victory was just what Vision needed coming off of a 55-24 loss in their prior contest.
Vision found their leader in underclassman Raelynn Nickel, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Nickel is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Angel Gutierrez was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Liberty Charter posted their closest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They didn't even let Centennial Baptist onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Liberty Charter has scored all season.
Vision's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Liberty Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Vision was dealt a bruising 50-17 defeat at the hands of Liberty Charter in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Vision was down 27-6.
