Berkner is 0-10 against Lake Highlands since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Berkner Rams will be playing at home against the Lake Highlands Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. Berkner's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Berkner's offense. They were the victim of a rough 8-0 loss at the hands of Pearce last Tuesday.
In what's become a running theme this season, Lake Highlands gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They never let Nimitz onto the board and left with a 5-0 win.
Berkner's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake Highlands, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-2.
Berkner might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Lake Highlands in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Can Berkner avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
