Cincinnati College Prep Academy lost to Northwest back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions took a 38-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. On the bright side, the 32- point performance marked the Lions' highest-scoring contest to date.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dora Akemon, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Those 11 points gave Akemon a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Journei Leonard, who posted six points along with seven boards and three steals.

Cincinnati College Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Northwest, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Cincinnati College Prep Academy has already played their next matchup (against Clark Montessori), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-34 loss against Western Hills on the 28th.
