There's no place like home for The Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Waterloo East 54-22 at home. The result was nothing new for Decorah-North Winneshiek, who have now won four games by 26 points or more so far this season.
Waterloo East's lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jeremiah Clark, who picked up 133 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Landen Sewell was another key contributor, throwing for 285 yards and three touchdowns.
Decorah-North Winneshiek's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Waterloo East, their loss was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
Decorah-North Winneshiek will square off against North Scott at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Scott is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. Waterloo East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
