There's no place like home for the Lafayette Rams, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 53-48 victory over Warhill on Wednesday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Lafayette has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lafayette to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jarquez Garrett, who scored 15 points along with five assists and three steals. Garrett has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Asa Fehrenbach, who scored nine points along with 13 rebounds and two blocks.
Lafayette is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Warhill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Lafayette will be playing at home against Smithfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Warhill, they will head out on the road to challenge York at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (York is ranked 231st, while Warhill is ranked 227th).
