The Amplus Academy Archers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. The contest between Amplus Academy and Bonanza wasn't particularly close, with Amplus Academy falling 55-37.
Talaya Allen and Vanesa Rozniece certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Allen scored 8 points along with 9 steals, while Rozniece scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Amplus Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bonanza, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Amplus Academy will take on Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Valley's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Amplus Academy's offense will have their work cut out for Amplus Academy. As for Bonanza, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Southeast Career Tech at 6:30 p.m. on December 4th. Hopefully Southeast Career Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 36 on Friday.
