Delaware Christian waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the River Valley Vikings with a sharp 49-27 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Delaware Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooke Huffman out in front who posted 22 points and five rebounds. Addy Beard was another key player, putting up 20 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

River Valley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ava Roseberry, who scored 12 points, and Anna Labarge, who had four points.

Delaware Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.4 points per game. As for River Valley, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Delaware Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-20 victory against Liberty Christian Academy on the 28th. As for River Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 48-42 loss against London on the 29th.
