Make it 18 blowout wins for the Chapin Huskies this season. Everything went their way against Andress on Friday as Chapin made off with a 53-31 victory. The win was familiar territory for Chapin who now have eight in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Savion Jordan, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Jayden Leverett, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Chapin's victory was their 21st straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Andress, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.
Chapin will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. Jefferson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1486th, while Chapin is ranked 37th). As for Andress, they will head out on the road to take on El Paso at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
