It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Bishop Fenwick ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles 3-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won four games in a row.

Bishop Fenwick's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-8. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-8.
