Ider's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Fyffe Red Devils as they made off with an 8-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Ider has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Fyffe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15.

Ider didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Geraldine on the 12th. As for Fyffe, they have also already played their next match, an 8-6 loss against Collinsville on the 14th.
