It was another big night for Caleb Manriquez, who almost dropped a double-double on 30 points and nine boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024. Joseph McCabe was another key player, as he made all 6 shots he took to post 14 points.
Meanwhile, Wilmington Christian Academy got the win against Wake Christian Academy on Tuesday by a conclusive 67-45.
Wilmington Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Trent Davies, who went 9 of 15 en route to 28 points. Davies is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Maddox Batts, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Hilltop Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Hilltop Christian hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 62.6 points per game. However, it's not like Wilmington Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 63.2 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
