West Lincoln has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Bandys Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, West Lincoln strolled past Lincolnton with points to spare, taking the game 54-40. The victory was just what West Lincoln needed coming off of a 78-32 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Bandys scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 75-18 victory over Bunker Hill. The win was nothing new for Bandys as they're now sitting on three straight.
West Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Bandys, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
West Lincoln was dealt a bruising 68-21 defeat at the hands of Bandys in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can West Lincoln avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
