The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Claremore Christian in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.
Mingo Valley Christian had a senior duo take command as Gunner Hitchcock scored 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds and Isaiah McLemore scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. McLemore is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last ten games he's played. Harrison Chatham was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Claremore Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Mingo Valley Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
Claremore Christian will head out on the road to face off against the Raptors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dove Science Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Mingo Valley Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
