The Weber Warriors can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 63-38 margin over Bear River. The win was just what Weber needed coming off of a 53-33 loss in their prior game.
Weber got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Avery Shupe out in front who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds. Rylee Jugler was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 7 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Bear River still got an impressive performance from Saydee Pebley, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubree Fry, who scored 7 points.
Weber's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Bear River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Weber will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th. As for Bear River, they will face off against Park City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Park City is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
