Pueblo Central won the last time they faced Pueblo Centennial and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Bulldogs. With that victory, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Pueblo Central let Anthony Trujillo and Colton Calderon run wild. Trujillo went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base, while Calderon went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits Trujillo has posted since back in April of 2024. Jayce Ibarra also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Pueblo Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pueblo Centennial only posted an OBP of .276.

Pueblo Central pushed their record up to 8-5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Pueblo Centennial, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
