Winton Lackey turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Friday. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

Lackey and San Saba will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Harper at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th. San Saba has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
