Smeltzer's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was C.J. Fidler, who posted nine points.
Edgerton's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Montpelier, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-6.
Edgerton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-37 victory against Edon on the 1st. Montpelier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
