Clinton had won three straight  games  and  Javen Cook did his part to make it four on Friday. The Red Devils took their  game  with ease, bagging  a  56-14 win over the Landrum Cardinals with plenty of help from  Cook, who rushed for 334 yards and five  TDs on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards.
 Clinton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Noah Garrett,  Ajavian James,  and  Zy Butler picked up one apiece.
Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Landrum, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record  this season.
