After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Andrew Jackson Academy, the Faith Christian Knights were happy to have found some success on Thursday. Everything went their way against Clarendon Hall as Faith Christian made off with a 68-44 win. With that win, Faith Christian brought their scoring average up to 51.3 points per game.
Faith Christian can attribute much of their success to Elijah Brown, who scored 19 points along with 8 assists and 7 rebounds. Brown is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Isaiah Freberg was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds.
Faith Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Clarendon Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faith Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. John's Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. St. John's Christian Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Clarendon Hall, they will head out on the road to face off against Cathedral Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
