Shoemaker went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs, while Messenger went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave Shoemaker a new career-high. Bryce Weege was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
