Who hit it big the last two weeks in the Great Lakes Region? Try

The
Hendrick Hudson (Montrose, N.Y.) junior has had a dominating start to February with two triple-doubles and nearly a third. The 6-foot-3 capatin had 20 points, 23 rebounds and 13 blocks in a 57-37 win over
Carmel (Carmel, N.Y.) and 22 points, 18 rebounds and 10 blocks in a 45-14 win over
Haldane (Cold Spring, N.Y.). Also had 29 points, 16 rebounds and nine blocks in a 55-43 victory over
Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, N.Y.).
Weimar has had five triple-doubles this season. She’s averaging 21.3 points, 16.6 rebounds and 6.6 blocks per game.
Lucky 13: Three different Ohio student-athletes recorded 13 steals in a game recently.
Richmond Heights (Richmond Heights, Ohio) junior
Imani Hendon had a triple-double (25 points, 13 steals and 13 assists) in an 83-17 in over
Harding (Fairport Harbor, Ohio), while
Pymatuning Valley (Andover, Ohio) senior
Jenna Swiger had 13 assists in a 76-59 win over
Badger (Kinsman, Ohio). Not to be outdone,
Fayetteville-Perry (Fayetteville, Ohio) senior
Cecilia Murphy had 13 assists, 13 points, nine rebounds and six steals in a 66-44 win over
Felicity-Franklin (Felicity, Ohio).
A for Effort: Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, Ill.) fell to
Aquin Catholic (Freeport, Ill.) 62-59, but senior
Jaynee Prestegaard had a historic stat line with 32 points, 12 blocks, 11 rebounds, five assists and four steals.
Triple-Double: Homer (Homer, N.Y.) freshman
Gracie Patriarco has had good games but none as complete as the one she registered in a 71-23 victory over
Institute of Tech (Syracuse, N.Y.). Patriarco had career-highs in points (20), rebounds (16) and steals (15) as she registered her first triple-double.
Triple-Double II: Inwood Academy (New York, N.Y.) senior
Annalis Reyes notched he fourth triple-double of the season with 19 points, 15 steals, 10 rebounds and five assists in a 69-43 win over
Environmental (New York, N.Y.).
40-something: Universal Learning Academy (Westland, Mich.) junior
Zahraa Cherkaoui dropped 49 points in a 69-42 win over
Michigan Math & Science (Center Line, Mich.).
Power Ranger: North (Eastlake, Ohio)) junior
Destiny Leo continues to terrorize opponents. The small forward scored a career-high 44 points and had 18 rebounds in a 68-48 win over
Kenston (Chagrin Falls, Ohio). Also had 37 points and 10 rebounds in a 58-45 win over
Brush (Lyndhurst, Ohio). Leo is averaging 30.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.4 blocks per game.
