On Friday, Southern Lab earned a 52-41 win over Rayne. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Southern Lab.
Leading Southern Lab to victory were Troy Murphy and Charles Leblanc. Murphy dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Leblanc dropped a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds. Leblanc is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Bryson Chapman was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Southern Lab now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Rayne, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Southern Lab won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against St. Martinville at 4:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Rayne will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Carencro at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
