The Clear Lake Falcons's five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 31-10 margin over Brazoswood. The result was nothing new for Clear Lake, who have now won three matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clear Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elijah Harris, who picked up 129 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Harris was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 65 yards. Devin Lippold was another key contributor, throwing for 236 yards and two touchdowns.
Despite the loss, Brazoswood still got an impressive performance from Jose Trevi?o, who rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown.
Clear Lake's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Brazoswood, they have yet to win a contest on the road this season, leaving them with a 3-7 record.
Clear Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brazoswood also has no future games currently scheduled.
