The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sonoran Science Academy has scored all season.
Arrowhead Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cristian DeLaCruz, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. DeLaCruz hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Asa Shaw, who scored ten points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Sonoran Science Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.3 points per game. As for Arrowhead Christian Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
Sonoran Science Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Imagine Prep Coolidge at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arrowhead Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on BASIS - Prescott at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. BASIS - Prescott will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 275th, while Arrowhead Christian Academy is ranked 85th).
