The Morgan County Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a  51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oconee County. Morgan County lost against Oconee County in their previous head to head  last Saturday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the  56-50 score last time.
 Despite the loss, Morgan County still got an impressive performance from   Jaden Young, who  scored 13 points along with eight  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Kymora Smith, who  scored seven points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Morgan County bumped their record down to 3-7 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Oconee County, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
 Morgan County will be home for the holidays to greet  Monroe Area at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Oconee County, they will head out on the road to face off against Athens Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Athens Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Oconee County in Georgia (Athens Christian is ranked 40th, while Oconee County is ranked 179th).
