The Dora Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a tough 77-56 defeat at the hands of Carbon Hill. Dora has not had much luck with Carbon Hill recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Dora lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josh Williams, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Camdan Hines, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Dora's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Carbon Hill, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 23-5.
Dora will head out on the road to take on Corner at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Dora focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Friday. Carbon Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
