The San Luis Obispo Tigers lost against the Atascadero Greyhounds back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. San Luis Obispo opened the new year with a less-than-successful 58-54 loss to they. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for them in their matchups with Atascadero: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Logan Missler, who scored 17 points. Missler also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cyrus Isaacs, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
San Luis Obispo's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Atascadero, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Luis Obispo will square off against San Marcos at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Atascadero, they will head out on the road to face off against Righetti at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Righetti is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
