Volleyball Recap: Larned Gets the Win

Larned won the last time they faced Stafford and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians walked away with a 2-0 win over the Trojans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Larned took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13.

Jadyn Crosby paced Larned's offense, picking up ten kills. Crosby got some help from Brooke Simmons and her 17 assists. Simmons and Crosby didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Larned's victory bumped their record up to 9-21. As for Stafford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Larned will face off against Russell on Tuesday. As for Stafford, they will take on Pretty Prairie on Saturday.
