Garrett Murphy Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Laurens Academy got the W thanks in part to Garrett Murphy playing the best football he has all season. Murphy rushed for 320 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 20.0 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 159 or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

Richard Winn Academy picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Charlie Bonds. Bonds was unstoppable, throwing for 184 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing, while also rushing for 73 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
