Palmetto never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Carolina Academy Trojans 16-0. Considering the Mustangs have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Palmetto has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Carolina Academy, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Palmetto beat the Trojans by a score of 15-0 later that day.
