Bear River won the last time they faced Colfax and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Bear River Bruins came out on top against the Colfax Falcons by a score of  9-6. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Bruins.
 Ana Marin Hemings was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up  five earned  (and one unearned) runs off   seven  hits (and only one walk). Those  hits marked the first that  she  allowed this season. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Taryn Cleek was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Three bases. while going 4-for-5. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Macy Martin was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Bear River  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Colfax only managed eight  hits.

Bear River now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Colfax,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-4.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bear River will head out to  square off against Oakmont  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Oakmont is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5  runs per game  this season. As for Colfax, they will venture away from home to  take on Lincoln  at 4:00  p.m.  on March 18th.
