Gainesville Christian Community dropped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for First Christian, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
Gainesville Christian Community took a serious blow against the Lions when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 50-18.
