Baseball Recap: Lowell Gets the Win

Sparta typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Lowell proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Spartans. This was a revenge game for the Red Arrows: when they faced off against the Spartans on Monday, they had to take a 4-0 defeat.

Lowell's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brody Lehman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Logan Dawson, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 17-7-1. As for Sparta, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7.

Lowell will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Spartans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
