The Springfield Blue Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight defeat. They took a 62-46 bruising from Wauseon. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Springfield in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost eight in a row.
Despite the loss, Springfield still got an impressive performance from Aaron Adams, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Adams has scored all season. Kai Taylor was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Springfield dropped their record down to 3-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Wauseon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springfield is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Polar Bears at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. As for Wauseon, they will challenge the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
