A big part of King City's win came down to the chemistry between Landon Carlson and his top target Ryder Sample. Carlson threw for 193 yards and five TDs while completing 80% of his passes while Sample picked up 123 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those five passing touchdowns gave Carlson a new career-high.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to King City's defense and their five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Josiah Schellhorn and Coltin Potter, who racked up all five sacks between them.
