The Fort Loramie Redskins will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Botkins Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Fort Loramie suffered their biggest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Sunday. They were the victim of a tough 45-21 defeat at the hands of Mohawk. While losing is never fun, Fort Loramie can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 671st, while Mohawk is ranked 322nd).
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Alex Boeger, who scored six points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Botkins unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to Parkway 43-39. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Botkins has scored all season.
Fort Loramie has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Botkins, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
