The Inglemoor Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Newport - Bellevue Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Inglemoor is ranked 152nd, while Newport - Bellevue is ranked 133rd).
Inglemoor fell victim to Arlington's stalwart defense on Saturday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Eagles at home and fell 35-0.
Meanwhile, Newport - Bellevue was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 27-21 to Mercer Island.
Inglemoor now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Newport - Bellevue, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Inglemoor couldn't quite finish off Newport - Bellevue when the teams last played back in October of 2022 and fell 31-28. Can Inglemoor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
