The West Logan Christian Academy Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Bloomingdale Blazers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
West Logan Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to Teays Valley Christian on the road by a decisive 86-72 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Monday (62), West Logan Christian Academy still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Bloomingdale had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Ignite Athletics as Bloomingdale made off with a 54-28 win. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Bloomingdale has scored all year.
Bloomingdale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caleb McClung led the charge by going 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 0 assists. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Sutton Roten, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
West Logan Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bloomingdale, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
