Humble Christian found their leader in underclassman Xander Stevenson, who almost dropped a double-double on ten rebounds and nine assists. Stevenson continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyron Williams, who scored ten points.
Cornerstone Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Humble Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-12.
Cornerstone Christian Academy beat Humble Christian 67-54 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Humble Christian's Baylee Sandvig, who scored 18 points along with four steals.
