The Colby Eagles will face off against the Scott Beavers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
11 must be Colby's lucky number: they beat Russell with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Broncos. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won six in a row.

Ryler Carter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Colby got a big performance out of Hailey Bolyard, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Sadie Cheney, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
Colby was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Scott entered their tilt with Lakin on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Broncs with a sharp 15-5 win. That's two games straight that the Beavers have won by exactly ten runs.
Payton Gentry was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayla Edwards, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Scott's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Colby, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Both Colby and Scott just can't seem to miss. The Eagles have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Scott struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
