With a playoff win on the line, St. John rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Waterloo Vikings by a score of 9-6. The victory was nothing new for the Fighting Herald as they're now sitting on three straight.
Will Anderson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Anderson was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
