Sonora got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Audie Peeples out in front who rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Bryce Nicolson was another key contributor, rushing for 64 yards and a touchdown.
Amador's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 4-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.5 points per game.
