Vinemont is 0-3 against Fairview since February of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Vinemont Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fairview Aggies at 4:30 p.m. Vinemont is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Vinemont narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past West Morgan 5-4. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.

Banks Borwick looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Vinemont saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylan McRae, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most RBI McRae has posted since back in March of 2024. Jake Hale was another, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Fairview didn't have quite enough to beat Sardis on Saturday and fell 8-7. The Aggies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The victory made it two in a row for Vinemont and bumps their season record up to 5-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Fairview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
