The Norland Vikings on the road again on Saturday and play against the Windermere Prep Lakers at 1:40 p.m. on January 20th. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Monday, Norland came up short against Sagemont and fell 64-55.
Norland's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Marcus Allen, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds, and Triston Wilson who scored 13 points along with eight assists and three steals. That's the first time this season that Wilson posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendrick Preston, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Windermere Prep waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins but they left with six. They secured a 71-67 W over Lake Highland Prep.
Norland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Windermere Prep, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home.
