Donnie Rodriguez Goes Supernova in Bristol Central Win
  Donnie Rodriguez's big game helped extend Bristol Central's winning streak to eight on Friday. Nobody could stop  Rodriguez as he rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 70 yards and two touchdowns.
 Unfortunately for Wethersfield, this isn't the first big game they've seen from  Rodriguez. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Rodriguez saw the Eagles), he rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns.

Big Game from Sims As Newington Won 33-0
 Newington picked up their fifth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Josiah Sims. Sims turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 38 yards and two touchdowns, while also catching a touchdown.
 Newington's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. Sims and Newington will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bristol Eastern at 6:30  p.m.  on October 17th.

 Bristol Central picked up their eighth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Quincy Lawson. Lawson was dynamite, picking up 70 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 On the year,  Lawson  has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 37.5 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after four games last season,  he had one  receiving touchdown.

Evan Pigott Dazzles in Newington Win
  Evan Pigott put up the most  rushing yards he's  had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
 This year,  Pigott  has averaged 30 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after four games last season,  he was only averaging ten  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 62.25  rushing yards.
