Cincinnati College Prep Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cincinnati Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2019.
Cincinnati Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Savannah Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaylin Davis, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Cincinnati College Prep Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Cincinnati Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cincinnati College Prep Academy will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against DePaul Cristo Rey at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Cincinnati Christian, they will challenge St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
