Even though the Franklin Yellowjackets scored an imposing 71 points on Friday, the McNair Eagles still came out on top. McNair took their match against Franklin 83-71. The win made it back-to-back wins for McNair.
DaWaine Watson was on fire: he scored 32 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Flores, who scored 18 points.
McNair's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11. As for Franklin, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McNair will take on Stagg at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin, they will be playing at home against Bear Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Bear Creek's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten contests.
