Georgetown has gone a perfect 6-0 against East View recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

While Georgetown's victory against Rouse wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Raiders 35-33. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, East View hadn't done well against Cedar Park recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Patriots managed a 42-38 win over the Timberwolves.

Georgetown better keep an eye on Cormyc Guerrero. He was instrumental in East View's win, rushing for 83 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 254 yards and two TDs while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt. Another player making a difference was Jayvion Clater, who rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries.

Georgetown's record now sits at 5-1. As for East View, their record is now an identical 5-1.

Everything came up roses for Georgetown against East View in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 58-14 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Patriots' Ty Blair, who rushed for 120 yards and one TD on only 14 carries, and also threw for 119 yards and one touchdown.
